Implementing a Nationwide Open edX Platform
Open edX-based national platforms are a great tool to push education forward by driving regulatory changes, increasing investment in universities and instructional designers, strengthening the digital education ecosystem, and widening a strong network of knowledge and technology transfer among countries' stakeholders. National platforms complement edX’s reach with the local and national market while building investment in local awareness for students and organizations. A better relationship between edX and national platforms will not only bring value for all the participants in micromasters and microbachelors, but also serve as a vehicle to form a sustainable business model in a changing market where students value knowledge more than the certificate. The Open edX Platform can benefit from a national platform building a stronger tech ecosystem of each nation.
